Description
In this fact-based film, educator Mary Kay Letourneau (Penelope Ann Miller) is in the midst of an unsatisfying marriage when she bonds with sixth grader Vili Fualaau (Omar Anguiano). Soon after they begin a sexual relationship. Eventually, their romance is discovered, and she barely escapes jail time after having a baby with Vili. But when the couple reunites with plans to run away together, Mary Kay is caught again and must face the legal and social consequences of her affair.
